Itinerary

Main stop

Oude Delft 167, 2611 HB Delft

Start your walk at the Gemeenlandshuis in Delft. Just open Ciceru nearby to begin exploring the fortress like mansion that reminds you the real monarch here is water.

Sint Agathaplein 1, , 2611 HR Delft

Stand outside these sober brick walls where William the Silent was shot and a nation learned that history is often made in hallways.

25 Heilige Geestkerkhof, 2611 HP Delft

Admire the famously leaning tower, a medieval engineering mistake that Delft kept like a family heirloom and now calls character.

Markt 87, 2611 GS Delft

Take in the ornate façade with its red shutters and golden swagger, then notice the dark old prison tower lurking behind the civic pride.

Delft

Pause in the vast square where merchants, executions, festivals, and Vermeer’s childhood all shared the same stage, just with different costumes.

Voldersgracht 21, 2611 EV Delft

Look at the rebuilt guild hall front and enjoy the delicious irony: Delft has no original Vermeers, so it built a shrine anyway and made it work.

Markt, 2611 GX Delft

Gaze up at the tower that dominates the skyline, a Gothic giant that has outlasted fires, explosions, and the city’s attempts to call it “new.”

Burgwal 18a, 2611 GJ Delft

Admire the twin Neo Gothic towers that rise like a comeback story in brick, a public victory lap for a faith that once had to hide.

2611 GA Delft

Wrap up your tour at the Beestenmarkt. Take a moment to enjoy the square’s café buzz and imagine the old livestock chaos that once ruled this spot before ending your walk.

For reference only. Itineraries are subject to change.
